Can the MacBook Air run Windows XP or Vista ?
i am trying to find out whether the MAC Book AIR is compatible with WIndows OS, because I need to run .NET and SQL Server ? Can anybody help ?

I believe it can run XP or Vista. There’s a built in program on any new Mac called Boot Camp. Check out the link here:

You have to install the Windows operating system on your Mac and then boot into XP or Vista from your Mac and then work as if you are on a PC. I believe all of your PC applications should work.
Yes, you can run Windows on any modern Mac. Although why you would want to is unfathomable… buy the laptop, use it for a day and I bet you won’t want to install Windows.
Yes you can. Remember that the standard drive in the Mac Air is only 80gigs
I believe SQL Server is available for Mac, and I’ve heard that a Mac version of .Net is out, or going to be out.

One of my friends managed to do that. What he did was, to install Parallel Desktop, and virtual PC for mac, adn he had prtty much the same system requirements like you, and i worked!hope you figure it out how to work it! Good luck!
