Can i hook up a Macbook Air to a Apple 20″ Cinema Display?
I currently own a 1.6ghz 80gb Macbook air. I’m looking for a cinema display screen to connect to but am unsure about the compatibility. I hear the new apple displays will need an adapter to convert from DVI to mini DVI but was curious as to weather it would still work with the older models as it doesn’t specify on the Apple website. Thanks 
If you have the earlier Macbook Air with a miniDVI port, yes you can hook it up to any DVI-equipped monitor by using the miniDVI-to-DVI adapter, including the DVI-equipped Apple Cinema Displays.
If you have the latest Macbook Air with a miniDisplayPort, you can kook it up to any DVI-equipped monitor by using the miniDisplayPort-to-DVI adapter, including the DVI-equipped Apple Cinema Displays.
